There are names history left out. People who marched.
People who organized. People who refused to wait, and
paid for that refusal with their freedom, and sometimes
their lives. Their stories were not lost by accident.
They were buried.
We started Black History Print to bring those names
back. Not as footnotes. Not as one month a year. As
full lives, written down with the depth, the honesty,
and the care these people were owed the first time.
We make these books so the next generation doesn't
have to start from nothing. So a young reader can hold
this history in their hands, and know it belongs to
them.
